SIDING

Siding inspections in Yakima and Kittitas counties

Siding, trim, soffit and fascia checked together with the roof, so water problems are found where they start.

Chapter 01

What goes wrong with siding, and how it starts

Siding fails the same way most of a house fails: water gets where it should not. Moisture works behind a board, the wood underneath starts to rot, and a storm can crack, lift or tear off the pieces that were already weak.

From the street, a wall can look fine while the trouble sits at a seam, a trim joint or the spot where the wall meets the roof. That is why an inspection beats a glance. We look closely, tell you plainly what we find, and say whether it needs a spot fix or something bigger.

What we check and what we fix

Our siding work covers full siding replacement, siding repair and spot fixes, trim, soffit and fascia, moisture and rot protection, and storm damage with insurance help. We serve homes and businesses in Yakima County and Kittitas County.

Estimates are free, and we are a fully insured team. If the work is bigger than you planned for, we also work with Profund to offer flexible financing plans that fit your budget.

Not every problem needs a new wall. Often the right answer is replacing a few boards or sealing a joint.

Chapter 03

Why we check the wall and the roof together

Water that leaves a roof does not stop at the eave. It runs down fascia, soffit and siding, and a roof problem often shows up first as a wall problem. A roofer who checks only the shingles can miss where the water goes next.

Because we are a roofing company, the inspection covers both. We look at flashing, gutters, trim, soffit and vents along with the siding. One Google reviewer had a full roof replaced after a windstorm and said the soffit and vents were upgraded and balanced to meet the roof's requirements, which is the kind of detail this check is about.

If the damage came from a storm, we help you work with your insurance carrier.

"They worked quickly with our insurance carrier to get things underway, and our roof was completed quickly." Holli Shields, Google review
