Columbia Plateau installs asphalt shingle, metal, tile and flat roofs across Yakima and Kittitas counties. The material changes from house to house. The way we hold it down does not.

Metal roofing
Standing seam in steel and copper sheds snow and ignores wind. Our own small fabrication shop bends custom flashing for the odd corners, and Glacier Guard protects the roof from sliding snow and ice.

Tile roofing
Tile is where Dan started the company in 2000, in a trade with little competition at the time. Tile is heavy, so the crew checks the roof structure before a single piece goes up, then repairs, replaces or installs clay and concrete tile.

Inspect in spring and fall
Flat roofing
TPO, PVC and membrane roofs for low-slope homes and commercial buildings. The crew is certified by GAF and Duro-Last, and a flat roof lives or dies by how fast its water leaves.

Manufacturer wind warranties stop at 15 years. Ellensburg is called the Windy City for a reason, so we built the warranty to outlast the weather.
Metal roofs carry the same idea into snow country. Glacier Guard protects a metal roof from damage by sliding snow and ice, the thing that tears at gutters, vents and the roof edge every winter on the plateau.
